Watched this last night. Still one of the greatest movies ever made and in my Top 3.
When he stopped the bullets he should have slapped them back.

Well, so I went and saw the Matrix. I prepared for a dose of action and jokes that is the normal outcome of a normal US movie. I got that. But, to my surprise (and joy) there was some other stuff in the movie? Effects, plot, script and more effects. br>
The effects strictly dominate the movie (how about Keanu Reeves flying as superman and stopping bullets with his hands) but there is some real action too. Still, the plot is similar to Terminator – but is much better.
So the outcome of it: Massive, action spawned movie with effects that’ll get you to believe you’ve landed on Mars with a pair of 3D glasses. Good fun. Rates 9/10 or. 1/2 of.

The technology of the site allows you to play movies without problems even through a Smart TV.
So instead of Keanus “Whoa!” We wouldve had Wills “Yo!”.

I’d love to be that guy at 00:30 like yea you guys go reload him I got the door.
It’s all well and good commenting on the groovy special effects, Fishburne’s presence on screen, the music etc but how often is the bad guy (in the case, Hugo Weaving’s Agent Smith character) so evil that you want to see Neo kick his arse. If you actually watch the extras on the DVD release and realise how strong Weaving’s Australian accent is in real life it is even more believable.
On top of that, check out Carrie-Anne Moss’s catsuit – she didn’t need the padding that was required for Ms Pfeifer in Batman (and to top it all, she was pregnant for the third film.
I’ve only seen the film about 70 times so I am no expert but to me, it was a revelation at the time – not least with the new filming techniques used by many films now – including Toy Story 2 I believe and certainly employed in Shrek 2. That in itself must garner some plaudits for an action film to be copied by an animated one.
Oh well, I’ll just go and watch it again to make sure.

Simply a movie for the current audience longing for action, cool” sayings and an easy to follow plot. What else can I say? The philosophy,most people who rate this movie good seem to credit, is the same one will think through while laying on grass staring at the stars being totally p* ed. But who wonders about todays youth being deeply impressed by something like that. br>
One last question for the neverbelievers out there. Who tells you the real world Neo escapes to from the Matrix isn’t just another Matrix.
